Situated in a wonderful spot just half a mile from the picturesque Lakeland village of Boot, this tranquil, spacious property offers light, warm and relaxing holiday accommodation for up to 16 guests. Providing an idyllic getaway destination for eager walkers, climbers and cyclists, this spacious property is ideal for larger families enjoying a reunion and for groups of friends discovering the glorious landscapes of the south-western reaches of the Lake District. With the beautiful Wastwater to the north, the stunning Coniston Water to the east and the spellbinding Cumbria coast to the west, this fantastic 19th-century property features a large, impressive dining room, original open fireplaces, exposed beams, a piano and a pretty garden with breathtaking views of the surrounding fells. This lovely retreat features an airy, bright and refreshing lounge with a Smart TV/DVD, plenty of seating and an open fire, a perfect spot for you all to relax at the end of a fantastic day exploring this beautiful region. There’s also plenty of seating in the dining room which has an original Victorian fireplace with an open fire, as well as a piano, music system and a choice of board games. The central grand dining table offers a fantastic space for you to celebrate a special occasion together. The colourful and stylishly designed kitchen has a breakfast table and plenty of equipment for you to rustle up a range of favourite dishes. Heading upstairs, the first floor offers the first four of this extensive property’s eight bright and relaxing bedrooms. Here, there’s a choice between two en-suite king-size rooms, a family room with three single beds, and a delightful single room, along with an invigorating shower room. The final four bedrooms, all with exposed beams set in low sloping ceilings, are all on the second floor. Here you can choose between three twin rooms and a cosy double, all with lovely views and hand basins. There’s also a useful second-floor family bathroom and a separate shower room. Going outside, the enclosed border garden offers glorious views and makes a lovely spot for a morning coffee as you get ready for the day. To the back of the house, a couple of acres of grassland provide plenty of space for you to stretch your legs in these glorious surroundings.
