Barn End is a stunning, semi-detached cottage sitting in the quiet village of Sleagill near to Shap in Cumbria. The property boasts four bedrooms, including two doubles, a single and four single beds with additional trundle bed and a fold out bed can be placed in any of the double rooms, sleeping ten guests in total. Also in the dwelling is a ground-floor shower room, two bathrooms, a kitchen/diner with a woodburning stove, utility, sitting room with a woodburning stove and a conservatory. Outside the property offers a private patio with furniture and off-road parking for three cars. Barn End is the perfect cottage from which to explore the Lake District and beyond with friends and family.

Shap is an idyllic village resting within the Eden district of Cumbria. Encompassed by the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks alongside the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it's the perfect base for a countryside escape. The village hosts pubs, shops, a Post Office and a swimming pool, offering all the essentials and more. In close reach of Penrith and Kendal too boasting attractions for all ages, Shap is the perfect holiday base at any time of year.

Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.
