Chilvery Farm Cottage is a charming stone barn conversion located near the village of Chagford, Dartmoor National Park. Hosting three bedrooms; a king-size with en-suite (Shower and basin, no WC), double, and a single, along with a bathroom, this property can sleep up to five people. Inside you will also find a cloakroom, kitchen/diner, utility, sitting room with a woodburner, and a sun room. To the outside is off-road parking for two cars, and a small enclosed patio garden with furniture, whilst guests also have access to a large wildlife garden and pond. Resting in a lovely location with pleasant views, Chilvery Farm Cottage is a heart-warming retreat in a memorable part of England. Two well-behaved dogs welcome (not allowed upstairs).

The village of Whiddon Down boasts its own pub, whilst nearby Chagford also has more active facilities such as a public tennis court and an open-air swimming pool to enjoy at your leisure. Its wonderful setting,15th and 16th century buildings, independent shops, arts and crafts, festivals and restaurants make it an absolute must-see for any visitor to Dartmoor.

Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
