Church Stretton forms an excellent base for the country lover and sportsman alike. The Long Mynd rising above the west of the town is renowned for gliding, hand gliding and paragliding, along with the Shropshire Way for the seasoned walkers and the second highest golf course in England. Visit the market town of Bishops Castle famous regular festivals and fairs. Ludlow and Shrewsbury are also thriving nearby market towns; with festivals celebrating good food, arts, crafts, horticulture, theatre and walking to include the Ludlow Food and Drink Festival held every September and the Shrewsbury Flower Show held every August making them perfect destination s whatever the time of year. When entering the property you will find hall way which is perfect to leave your boots after a day of exploring the area.
