Alternatively, guests can take a gentle stroll along the banks of the River Derwent before heading to the Devonshire Arms for a spot of lunch. This three bedroom cottage is filled with charm and character throughout. Spread across three floors, the exposed beams of the property provide a lovely sense of space and warmth. Downstairs the dining room boasts a gritstone fireplace and an open archway which leads through to the galley kitchen and all the essentials for attempting a Michelin style meal. The sitting room is at the rear of the cottage with a wood burner providing a central feature to the room. On the first floor there are two bedrooms; one double bed and one with a single bed. The main bathroom is also located on this floor and consists of a bath with electric shower-over, toilet and hand basin. Upstairs the spacious main bedroom extends into the eaves of the cottage, with an en-suite bathroom and king size bed. The bright bedroom has Velux windows that offer lovely views over Chatsworth Park. Outside there is a rear yard shared by neighbouring cottages with patio seating, there is a bench at the front of the cottage which is a lovely spot for watching the world go by.
