Station Cottage in the heart of the popular seaside villages of Seahouses, within a few metres of the beach, bustling harbour and all the restaurants, friendly pubs and a great range of shops. This cottage has it all! Plenty of room for all the family or a group of friends to spread out and relax with great facilities to make for a memorable holiday. There is a comfortable lounge with a large TV and access to Netflix, plus an additional lounge/dining/family area with a TV, DVD player, Xbox 360 and PS2, The spacious, modern kitchen is fully equipped and there are 3 lovely bedrooms and an attractive, modern family bathroom. Outside, you have so much space with a huge, enclosed garden with bench style seating and dining furniture. Having this space means that you, the children and dogs can play or relax after a day out exploring this beautiful area’s many local attractions and dine outdoors. Guests also have use of the extra long garage which is accessible from the kitchen to store bicycles, diving gear, surfboards and golf bags and there is also a pool table, table tennis, air hockey and a dart board to have some fun, family tournaments on! The cottage is nice and central so that means organising boat trips to the Farne Islands couln’t be easier and you can easily reach Bamburgh’s magnificient castle, glorious beach and pretty village via the stunning coastal path, or simply for more shops, great restaurants and cafes, not to mention the Grace Darling Museum. Walking in the other direction, you will reach Beadnell village with its fabulous beach, bay and harbour and views towards Dunstanburgh Castle. Sample the delights of the 2 excellent pub/restaurants both family and dog friendly or, try the smart Bistro and patisserie before heading back. Nearby, you have Alnwick Castle (of Hogwart’s fame) and The Alnwick Garden (under 30 mins), as well as the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, (35 mins) and Rothbury for Cragside House and Gardens (45 mins), all easily reached by car from Seahouses so, you will all have plenty to explore during your holiday at Station Cottage.
