Powys Castle and Gardens and Montgomery Canal are just a short drive away and the Snowdonia National Park is also within easy reach. Other attractions include the West Midlands Shooting Ground, Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway, Chirk Castle and Gregynog Hall. This property is well placed to enjoy either an active or relaxing holiday. This property is an ideal venue for a family holiday, anniversary or just a get away in the quiet countryside. The property is just oozing period charm and interesting features. The inner hall leads to the well equipped kitchen with Aga, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The table in the kitchen well placed to sit and relax whilst dinner is being cooked and if you tire of cooking then you can make use of the personal chef who is available to book and uses the finest local ingredients. The utility room offers a washing machine and tumble dryer. Back to the inner hall and through to the grand dining room with plenty of space for everyone to gather round and catch up. The lounge has a relaxed feel with stunning fireplace, wood burner, comfortable sofas and a large TV. Upstairs on the first and second floors you will find five luxurious bedrooms all with TVs and en suite facilities. You can choose from one of the four super king size bedrooms , all with en suite bathrooms with bath, separate shower and WC or the last of the bedrooms, a super king size with en suite bathroom with bath and WC, there is also a separate WC. Outside, to the front of the property is the magnificent bronze water feature and BBQ area in the shared courtyard. To the rear of the property is an attractive private garden with views over the lake with garden furniture, perfect for guests to enjoy a spot of al fresco dining, maybe a picnic, or just relax and embrace this wonderful view. Ample off road private parking is available. Lockable bike storage is also available.
