2 Bedroom Bed in Porthallow (LPEBB)

Gazing from the windows of this property, guests can enjoy uninterrupted views to the beach just metres away. In fact, the sea could hardly be any closer, and beach lovers will be able to spend as much time as they like sunbathing, swimming in the clean waters, kayaking, paddle boarding and watching the fishing boats come in. In the evenings sit out in the terraced garden and soak up the fresh sea air or take the stroll to the 300-year-old village pub for a quiet pint or two, which is under a mile. Waking up to the sound of waves lapping on the beach is one of lifes simplest pleasures and one of the true joys of staying at Little Pebble. In the morning, walk down to the beach, coffee in hand, and breathe in the tranquillity of the day before anyone else arrives or, take your breakfast onto the patio and embrace the fresh sea air. At cooler times of the year, light the warming wood burner in the lounge and spend a cosy evening in with a film or a favourite book while flames flicker in the fireplace. Once a thriving centre of pilchard fishing, the village of Porthallow on the eastern edge of the Lizard Peninsula is a quiet spot with a couple of well-regarded cafes and shingle beach. There is also a diving centre close by at Porthkerris if you need some more adventure. The whole of this picturesque peninsula is easily accessible from the cottage, with Lizard Point situated 12 miles away: an excellent location for spotting wildlife including migratory seabirds, grey seals, and even dolphins and porpoise.
