Situated just a short drive from the bustling town of Keswick, overlooking St John's in the Vale. This area offers a great base to get out and explore. With some fabulous walks available from your front door, the pretty village of Threlkeld set at the foot of Blencathra with its pubs, golf course and cricket club is just a short walk away. Situated in the National Park and just a short drive from Derwent Water and Bassenthwaite Lake. This location offers the perfect spot to explore the stunning Lake District, enjoy a day out at Mirehouse and Gardens or tick off some of the many Wainwrights. There are numerous water sport activities locally, as well as indoor climbing and Breweries to visit. The entrance of the downstairs stone bothy has a couple of steps leading up to the stable style door. As you enter the studio style accommodation you will find the open plan lounge with sofa and wall mounted TV, there is a small kitchen/preparation area with sink, kettle, microwave and fridge. There is underfloor heating throughout under the tiled floor which is blissful after a day out walking or cycling. The bathroom is compact but offers a shower cubicle and WC. The bedroom area features a double bed. Open the stable door, allowing light to fill the room and you have views over St John's in the Vale the local area is stunning. There is ample private parking in front of the Bothy.

Please note, the stable door is the only source of natural light. please note, no arrivals on Christmas Day or Bank Holidays.
