Wander to the Thornton Watlass for a drink and a warm welcome at the village pub (2 miles), and head to Thornton Steward Reservoir (3 miles) for a walk, you can also go fishing and sailing. Visit the vibrant market town of Masham, home to two breweries and a gin distillery (4 miles). Take a ride on the heritage Wensleydale Railway from Leeming Bar station (7.5 miles) and explore the Yorkshire Dales (3 miles) on foot or by bike.
