Haverthwaite is home to the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway where you can take a ride on a steam train for a journey back in time. You'll also find family favourites such as the Lakeland Motor Museum and the Lakes Aquarium just a short distance away. Nearby, Newby Bridge marks the foot of Windermere, which offers fun for all, whether it's walking its shores, hopping on and off a steamer with Windermere Lake Cruises or taking a dip in the Lake at Fellfoot Park, and there is so much on offer for those wishing to walk or explore the great outdoors. Cycling and watersports opportunities abound with plenty of chances to spot local wildlife from one of several scenic walking routes right from the doorstep. On entering this lovely property, you will instantly feel relaxed and ready to explore. Heading into the living room area, two comfortable leather sofas are positioned around a wood burner and a Smart TV, and french doors opening onto the courtyard garden fill the room with plenty of light. The kitchen is finished to a high specification and has everything you require when cooking for a family. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, and a microwave. The adjacent dining area has an oak dining table and chairs seating six and can be extended. In addition there is a ground floor cloak room with WC. All bedrooms overlook the front garden and are beautifully presented with tasteful décor. The master bedroom has a double bed with an en suite shower room with shower and WC. The next double bedroom, although only modest in size, comfortably accommodates two, and each side has a bedside cabinet and lamp. The main bathroom is a good size with a shower over the bath. The third bedroom a small 4ft double with bedside cabinets and lamps. All bedrooms have ample wardrobe space A lovely courtyard garden with a bistro garden dining set and BBQ plinth for al fresco dining offers a gorgeous place to sit and enjoy a meal or glass of wine on a summer's evening.
