There are adventures to be had close to home too, as by arrangement with the owner children can help out on the farm, collecting eggs and feeding calves. Wellies, helpfully, are provided. A thoughtful welcome pack will greet you on your arrival to the cottage. Inside, it has a friendly charm, with colourful decor and rustic features throughout. The living areas are spacious and bright, ideal for a group to be able to socialise in comfortably, as well as spread out when a bit of quiet time is needed. Curl up in front of the wood burner in the lounge, with the TV/Blu-ray on to unwind, or set up a board game on the coffee table. Everyone can move around in the homely kitchen/diner without it being a squeeze, as people take turns to cook dinner and set the table. Evening entertainment can be found in the games room with table football and darts, but if you need a moment away then sit on the landing with a good book. The sofa is nestled beside a window, for natural light and pretty views. After a hot bath or shower and goodnights all-round, retire to one of the bedrooms, which each have their own unique colour scheme and style. There’s one bedroom on the ground floor, while the rest are on the first floor up the stairs. Wake well-rested to take brunch alfresco, breathing in the fresh air and looking over the surrounding fields. Make the most of the outside spaces when the weather is good, basking in the sun in the enclosed walled garden, and treating yourself to a dip in the hot tub.
