Entering the cottage, the attractive first lounge with smart TV offers, stunning views and features a wood burner-effect gas fire and plenty of seating. The second lounge has a smart TV, feature fireplace and plenty of seating, perfect for snuggling up in the evening to enjoy a film. Downstairs, you will find a stylishly designed and fully equipped kitchen/diner, as well as the games room where you can take part in table football and darts. A bunk bedroom perfect for children is on the first floor along with the family bathroom and a king-size bedroom with a high ceiling and wooden flooring. The other king-size room is on the second floor, with statement lighting and a far-reaching view towards Riber Castle. Outside, a few steps lead down into the pleasant courtyard garden which makes a charming spot for a morning coffee as you plan the day’s events. Matlock has a host of great places to eat and drink, with local attractions including Gulliver’s Kingdom, the Peak District Mining Museum, Matlock Bath Aquarium, Cromford Mills, Matlock Farm Park and the Heights of Abraham (all within 3.5 miles). Heading into the Peak District National Park you can visit the picturesque town of Bakewell, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall (all within 8.5 miles).
