This stylish character period property is a home from home and provides guests with a mix of country, coast, and the town of Newport just 2 miles away. The famous cycle path which runs from Sandown to Cowes is easily accessible from your doorstep and is perfect for walkers, cyclists, and dogs. If it s sandy beaches and turquoise waters that are more your style then you are spoilt for choice with Sandown, Seaview, Freshwater, and Ventnor less than 10 miles away. There are many attractions within 3 miles including Carisbrooke Castle where Charles I was once held prisoner; Godshill idyllic village with its thatched cottages, pubs, gift shops and cafes. Arreton Barns with its cluster of arts and crafts shops, a maritime museum, farm shop and pub on site. And close by The Garlic Farm with its restaurant, locally grown produce shop and resident peacocks are a must visit. Or you may wish to visit Osborne House where Queen Victoria and Albert built their impressive Italianate residence with gardens sweeping down to the sea. Upon entering the cottage, you are greeted with fresh stylish interiors in the lounge/diner, and this space is well equipped with a three seater sofa, comfortable armchairs, and a rocking chair for all guests to sit and relax together in front of the electric wood burner effect fire and Smart TV. The perfect setup for a family movie night in. The dining table is also situated here and has an extendable middle leaf providing plenty of space for guests to sit together and enjoy what the nominated chef has cooked up. This brings us swiftly onto the kitchen space where guests have everything they need including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Completing the ground floor is washing machine accessible from under the stairs. Making your way up the stairway will bring you to a family bathroom with separate bath, shower cubicle and WC and a choice of three bedrooms. The master bedroom holds a king size bed whilst the second bedroom contains a double bed, both of which have ample storage space. The final bedroom has a bunk bed and also an additional single bed. Completing this wonderful property is a separate WC on the first floor. Making your way outside the property, there is a fully enclosed garden with outdoor sofa seating provided under a convenient covered gazebo, perfect for shelter from the sun and the ideal space for guests to relax in, whilst pets can roam freely. A fire pit BBQ is also provided for guests to enjoy. From the garden and master bedroom guests can enjoy fabulous views over the rolling fields and beyond. There is private off road parking for two cars on the driveway.
