Situated on the edge of the pretty village of Llanfair Caereinon with a village shop, pubs, fishing and steam trains on the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway. The ancient market towns of Welshpool (10.3 miles) and Newtown (12 miles) offer a selection of shops, restaurants, a cinema and attractions, not forgetting National Trust s Powis Castle and Garden (10 miles). Walkers, cyclists and water lovers alike can stride, ride or paddle along Montgomery Canal, Lake Vyrnwy or head up into the majestic mountains and paths across Snowdonia National Park. A great location to experience culture and countryside pursuits or just be. Walk into this spacious house full of period charm with beams, stripped floorboards, tiled and flagstone floors, feature fireplaces and creature comforts including underfloor heating.
