This lovely property is located in a beautiful spot near the village of Eastgate in the stunning landscape of Weardale, part of the North Pennines Area of Natural Beauty. This spectacular area offers the perfect location for exploring, walking, and cycling, and nearby Stanhope (3 miles) includes a local pub/restaurant, a good range of shops, and a café. Discover one of England s most breathtaking waterfalls, the 21 metre tall High Force in Forest in Teesdale (12.5 miles) and have the area s history brought to life in the award winning Killhope Museum, Weardale Museum, and High Chapel House. The vast Hamsterley Forest (14.5 miles) has mountain biking, walking, and horse riding trails for all skill levels. The property has been beautifully designed, finished, and furnished throughout with lovely artwork and fun pieces evoking its working history. The property has plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax both inside and outdoors. Step through the front door into the light and airy hallway where you can hang coats and store walking boots. Head through to the first lounge where a warming wood burner awaits so that you can relax on comfortable seating and watch a film on the Smart TV. Walk through to the second sunroom/lounge where natural light floods in through the floor to vaulted ceiling window offering lovely views of the garden and hills beyond. From here, you can also open the bi fold doors leading out to the garden. This lovely room is a calm, tranquil space where you can sit quietly with a book, play a board game, and sit at the bistro table with your morning coffee to spot local wildlife. On the other side of the hallway, the contemporary kitchen/diner is the sociable hub of the property with a large table and seating for six, as well as a kitchen island with bar stools where you can enjoy breakfast or sit with a drink and chat with the family chef. The kitchen, with views of the neighbouring garden, is well equipped with everything you need to create a tasty meal and there is a Smart TV on the wall. A door leads into the utility room with a washer/dryer and you will also find a downstairs WC here. Upstairs, you will find three comfortable bedrooms, each with its own TV and storage space for your things; one with a king size bed and a luxurious en suite shower and WC, and two delightful double bedrooms. The family bathroom features a muscle soothing Jacuzzi style bath with a hand held shower, and you can choose lighting colours to suit your mood. Outside, there is a large, lawned garden with views of the nearby hills, an attractive stone patio with garden furniture where you can enjoy al fresco dining and drinks, and a hot tub under the gazebo where you can relax and enjoy some fun in the bubbles.
