Take a short drive to the village of Headcorn (5 miles) with a good range of shops and a mainline station with a regular 1 hour journey to Central London, also the market town of Tenterden (9 miles away) with its independent shops and cafes and a steam railway terminus or visit Leeds Castle for a great family day out. An ideal location for keen gardeners with Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens and Godinton House within a short drive from the cottage. Keen walkers will love the numerous local footpaths across the beautiful Kent countryside passing through local fields and orchards and surrounding farmland to neighbouring villages where you can stop off at the village pub for a spot of refreshment.
