This fabulous property sits apart from the owners property, yet close to the large fishing lakes, which can be hired for exclusive use at the time of booking. Sitting in a private yet convenient location just off the Atlantic Highway, all the area s attractions and places of interest are easily accessible. Clovelly (1.5 miles) and Hartland Quay (7 miles) are well worth a visit with cobbled streets and spectacular cliff formations. Westward Ho! (10 miles) has 2 miles of golden sandy beach plus a range of shops, pubs, restaurants and a championship golf course. Nearby Appledore (12 miles) is a traditional fishing village steeped in nautical history with a maritime museum, a bustling quayside, shops, pubs and restaurants. After arriving at this impressive property, you will find yourself in the entrance hall which leads through to the large and welcoming kitchen. Fully equipped and with a large island unit and breakfast bar, it s a great social space. Just off the kitchen is a utility room with a separate WC and a door leading out to the covered hot tub. Head back through the kitchen and find a grand dining hall with a high ceiling and large French doors and windows which offer great views over the lawn and Devon countryside. The dining room has a huge banquet table and chairs to seat everyone and a retro bar sits at one end of the hall which is great for mixing a cocktail or two. At the other end is a refrigerated unit which helps to keep food fresh when catering for large numbers. There are two spacious lounges that sandwich the dining room, the first being an elegant room with a feature fireplace housing a wood burner, a Smart TV, three comfortable sofas and a baby grand piano. The second lounge is a little funkier with an electric flame fireplace, wooden flooring, a Smart TV, further comfortable sofas and an armchair. There are six elegant bedrooms, the first of which is on the ground floor and offers a zip and link super king size bed (which can be made into twins on request) this room also has an en suite shower room with a WC, perfect for easy access. The rest of the bedrooms are on the first floor and can be accessed by either of the two staircases that lead to the impressive galleried landing which overlooks the dining hall. The remaining five bedrooms comprise three king size bedrooms, a double room and finally a twin room, all with en suites. The family bathroom completes the accommodation, with a corner bath and WC. Heading outside, you will find an attractive terrace which encompasses the property on two sides. This has garden furniture, a BBQ and a private hot tub for your enjoyment. The former stable block has been converted into a games barn with a games table and a darts board. EV charging available at a cost paid directly with owner.

From April 2024 newly introduced duck nests x 3 and a Kingfisher bank for nesting. .
