For anyone seeking a rural getaway in the picturesque Peak District, this charming cottage is an excellent choice. The popular Monsal Trail is accessible on foot at Blackwell Mill (1 mile) with cycle hire available. This traffic free trail offers walkers and cyclists an opportunity to experience some of the Peak District's most magnificent limestone dales. Walkers can easily access the nearby Pennine Bridleway, the Limestone Way, Chee Dale and the stepping stones. Tideswell (3.3 miles) has shops, pubs and dining facilities. The spa town of Buxton is a 4.5 mile drive away, with shopping, dining, and entertainment options, including the renowned Buxton Opera House and Buxton's Pavilion Gardens. The market town of Bakewell (11 miles), famous for its Bakewell pudding and shops and markets. Chatsworth House is 13 miles away with the magnificent house, picturesque parkland and gardens, farm yard and nearby farm shop, offering something for everyone. As you step into the cottage's hallway, you'll find ample space to store your coats and boots after a day of outdoor activities . The hallway leads to an open plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area with a stunning vaulted ceiling, exposed oak frame, and floor to ceiling windows that take full advantage of the surrounding views. Relax on the comfortable seating in front of the wood burner with Smart TV and separate Bluetooth music system, or gather around the dining table for a special celebratory meal. The well equipped kitchen is a home away from home and offers everything you need to whip up a delicious meal during your stay. Head into the snug, a cosy room with comfortable seating, perfect for curling up and watching your favourite TV program. A ground floor bedroom with an en suite shower and bath room provides a comfortable space for a good night's rest. Upstairs, you'll find two more bedrooms with en suite shower rooms, each adorned with tasteful fabrics and offering lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Each of the bedrooms and snug have a Bluetooth music system built in. Underfloor heating is fitted throughout the ground floor and in the bathrooms upstairs. Please be aware that the upstairs rooms have low sloping ceilings. The garage, located outside, has been converted into a fantastic games room equipped with table football and table tennis, with Smart TV and Bluetooth music system. Separate room with washing machine, dehumidifier, drying facilities and secure indoor storage for 6 bikes. Charging facilities for Ebikes. Both rooms have underfloor heating. External wash off area for bikes, boots and dogs.
