Llangorse Lake is just 11 miles away, where you can hire a rowing boat, kayak, Canadian canoe, or stand up paddleboard. There are many market towns to explore including Brecon (5 miles) known for canal sidewalks, a theatre, a cathedral and the Welsh Museum and Hay on Wye (15 miles) which sits on the banks of the River Wye and is famed for its book festival.
