Set close to the Cumbrian coast in the charming village of Gosforth on the edge of the Lake District, this spacious holiday home is perfect for families or groups of friends with two dogs in tow. The western lakes offer something for everyone, with a wealth of trails and bridleways offering miles of stunning walks. The beautiful Victorian seaside village of Seascale is within easy reach (3 miles), whilst other local landmarks and attractions include Muncaster Castle (6.5 miles), the Ravenglass and Eskdale Steam Railway (5.5 miles), Hardknott Roman Fort (11 miles) and the sand dunes at Drigg (4 miles). Head inland and you ll be immersed in a choice of Lakes, from Buttermere (20 miles), Loweswater (18 miles), and Wast Water (6 miles). Upon entry into the generous hallway, you are beckoned into the spacious and brightly lit living room with plush sofas and views through the patio doors to the garden beyond, as well as a welcoming open fire. Open the large wooden doors that divide the living and dining rooms, to find a peaceful dining table where the group can enjoy the culinary treats cooked up in the well equipped kitchen. With a crackling wood burner, plenty of space and modern amenities, the kitchen offers more than enough to keep the group energised throughout your stay. At the end of the evening, head upstairs to the three delightful bedrooms that await, all offering cosy double beds and plenty of space for storage. Serving the bedrooms and completing the inside are a separate WC, and well appointed family bathroom. Outside, there is a spacious, enclosed garden where dogs can play safely while human guests enjoy al fresco food and drinks at the tranquil, outside table and chairs.
