Situated just inside Snowdonia National Park, Bala is known for its array of independent shops, cafes, and pubs, as well as a picturesque lake perfect for water sports. Visitors can rent kayaks and canoes, go fishing, or cycle around its 10 mile perimeter. For the more adventurous, the National Whitewater Centre, located just 4 miles away, provides opportunities for sailing and windsurfing. Beyond Bala, the stunning Snowdonia countryside awaits exploration. Built in the 1840s, this period property combines historical charm with modern comforts.
