Visit the popular village of Malham just 1 mile away, home to the captivating Malham Cove (2 miles), picturesque Janet's Foss (1.6 miles) and tranquil Malham Tarn (3 miles), one of England's highest limestone lakes. 10 miles away the bustling market town of Skipton, often called the "Gateway to the Dales," boasts the well preserved Skipton Castle and a vibrant high street offering an array of shops, cafes, and traditional markets. As you approach this majestic property, the sweeping driveway lined with ancient trees and manicured hedges sets the tone for your luxurious stay. The stately façade of this historic house, complete with mullion windows and imposing stonework, promises an experience steeped in history and grandeur. Stepping through the door into the grand entrance hall, you are immediately greeted by a sense of opulence. The space is illuminated by a glittering chandelier, and the polished floor reflects the colourful patterns cast by the elegant stained glass windows. To your right lies the formal dining room, a testament to timeless elegance with its large antique dining table that comfortably seats the entire group. An open fire in a grand period fireplace casts a warm glow over the room, enhancing the atmosphere as you dine. The large bay windows provide a stunning view of the meticulously kept gardens and the expansive parkland beyond. Adjacent to the dining room, the living room offers a cosy and comfortable space to unwind. This room is adorned with grand fixtures and fittings, including sumptuous sofas and another beautiful fireplace. On a winter's night, you can light the open fire, sink into the sofas, and relax in front of the smart TV for a movie night with your loved ones. Across the hallway, you'll find a fantastic bar area with relaxed seating, the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple. The room boasts an open fire, a central chandelier, and even a projector and karaoke machine for added entertainment. The large kitchen is a chef's dream, fully equipped with everything you might need to cook up a storm. It leads into a charming breakfast room that is ideal for more informal meals, making mornings a delightful experience as sunlight streams through the windows. When it is time to retire for the evening, ascend the sweeping staircase and marvel at the original stained glass windows from the old village church. On the first floor, you'll find seven opulent bedrooms, each adorned with bespoke furnishings and luxurious linens that are sure to allow for an excellent night s sleep. The master suite is a majestic king size room with a feature roll top bath under the window, offering spectacular parkland views. It includes a smart TV, an original fireplace, and an en suite shower room for added convenience. Three of the other bedrooms are super king size zip and link which can be split into twin beds for flexible sleeping arrangements. One of these is a family room with an additional single bed and an en suite bathroom, while another also has its own en suite. The final three rooms include a double room, a double with an en suite shower room, and a king size room with an en suite shower room. Completing this floor is a luxurious family bathroom. Ascending another small staircase, the second floor houses the final two bedrooms in a fantastic boutique space adorned with dramatic colours and bespoke fixtures and furnishings. To the left is a double room with an en suite bathroom and, to the right, you will find a fantastic loft suite with 2 6 twin beds that can be made into a king size bed if required, a bathroom, and a lounge area with a Smart TV and a dressing area. Set within 150 acres of parkland, the manor offers an abundance of outdoor space. The private enclosed garden features numerous seating areas, perfect for relaxation or a family BBQ whilst listening to the serene River Aire run by. Enjoy lawn games like chess and croquet, ideal for summer days, and top off the evening with a soak in the bubbling hot tub under the stars whilst you take in your majestic surroundings.
