Garve is an idyllic Highland village offering easy access to Inverness and its airport (25 and 40 miles away). It's a 30 mile drive to Ullapool for a CalMac ferry to the Isle of Lewis. Garve s railway platform, near Rosemount, provides scenic trips to Plockton, Kyle of Lochalsh, and Inverness. Perfect for exploring the city, the train ride to Inverness is stunning and convenient for day trips. Situated by the beautiful Black Water River, this enchanting retreat is ideal for fishing and forest walks. The cottage caters to outdoor enthusiasts with an array of mountains and tracks to walk or bike including Little Garve Bridge, Rogie Falls, and Loch Garve all within 9 miles, whilst also providing a great base for the NC500. Upon arrival at this unique cottage, you are welcomed into a quaint entrance hall. This cosy space, adorned with rustic touches and warm decor, sets the inviting tone for the rest of the cottage. To the right, you'll find the spacious lounge. This area features a modern wood burner, creating a cosy and warm atmosphere. Comfortable sofas provide ample seating, making it an ideal spot to unwind and relax after a day of activities. Large windows allow natural light to fill the room, enhancing its airy and welcoming feel. Moving through the lounge, you enter the modern fitted kitchen/diner. This kitchen is a delight for any home cook, offering all the necessary appliances. The kitchen also features a dining area with seating for four, perfect for family meals or intimate gatherings. A unique highlight of this space is the fully functioning security safe from the building's history as a grocer's store, adding a touch of character. Conveniently located downstairs is the main shower room. Heading upstairs, you will find two spacious and comfortable bedrooms. The first bedroom features a king size bed, while the second offers a cosy double bed. Both rooms are designed with restful sleep in mind, providing cosy extras for added comfort.
