Salt Life, Dunes at Upton Towans is a dog friendly holiday cottage.
Beautifully styled throughout, Salt Life’s interior finds just the right balance between paired-back simplicity and luxurious comfort. Built with locally-sourced materials such as timber framing and bee bricks, its sympathetic to the environment too, with air source heat pumps, underfloor heating and high levels of insulation reducing its carbon footprint.
In keeping with its beach house persona this home incorporates that all important indoor / outdoor lifestyle, with large sliding doors leading from the open plan living area out on to the private terrace. Here you’ll discover a large hot tub as well as a dining table and chairs, creating a gorgeous fresh-air space to chill or socialise in, while doubling up as the ideal spot to enjoy an alfresco breakfast before hitting the beach. Positioned within a meandering stroll’s distance of Gwithian Beach’s three mile long sandy stretch, days are spent sunbathing and sandcastle building before a cooling surf or a leisurely swim in the clear waters of the Atlantic. Being situated within the untamed landscape of a nature reserve means that the opportunity for outdoor adventure abounds, with coastal paths offering visitors a chance to take in some spectacular views of St Ives Bay and the surrounding area.

Pets: 2 pets allowed. Please advise the Luxury Coastal team directly if you would like us to host your pet after completing your booking. A charge of £30 per pet per stay/week will be applicable and required before your stay. We will arrange and invoice with you directly upon booking confirmation.
Linen & Towels – Bed linen and towels are provided. You will need to bring you own beach towels (and travel cot linen if required).
Smoking is not permitted inside the property.
Good Housekeeping Bond
We ask our guests for a £150 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterwards if there is no claim. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.
