Southdown is an attached barn conversion situated close to the village of Much Wenlock. It houses three bedrooms, comprising of two doubles and a double with an en-suite bathroom. There is also a family bathroom, complete with a shower over bath, basin and WC. Additional rooms include a sitting/dining room and a small kitchen area. Outside, you will find amply off-road parking and a shared lawn area with furniture and BBQ. Southdown promises a wonderful retreat.
This market town lies on the north east end of the famous Wenlock Edge in the Shropshire countryside. It houses a wealth of amenities including specialty shops, quality pubs and restaurants. Here, you will also find a selection of attractions including 12th century priory, 16th century Guildhall, the Norman church and the Old Gaol House. Further afield are the towns of Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth and Ludlow.
A E Houseman once wrote that Shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.
