The Old Apple Barn is a barn conversion in the village of Lindale. The cottage sleeps four people and has one double bedroom and one twin room and a family bathroom. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area. together with separate sitting area with sofa. Outside is off road parking for two cars and an enclosed lawned garden. Situated in the southern part of the Lake District National Park, the Old Apple Barn is a delightful place to stay in this part of the country. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome. The small village of Lindale is situated in the south of the Lake District National Park, just a few short miles from the coastal estuary and the seaside town of Grange-over-Sands. Sitting on the slopes of Hampsfield Fell it has a true 'Lakeland feel' with narrow streets, quaint stone dwellings, two traditional pubs, and an 18-hole golf course. Cartmel, with its delicious sticky toffee pudding, famous annual horse race meetings, a 12th century priory, a and gourmet restaurants is a ten minute drive away.

Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.
