Grampound is a charming settlement on the border of the Roseland Peninsula, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Cornwall. It is a good position for exploring the Cornish Riviera with its lovely countryside and seaside scenery, being roughly equidistant from the cathedral city of Truro and the mediaeval market town of St Austell. In the village centre, you'll discover a country pub, a restaurant, and some general stores. The vast stretches of sandy beach at Porthpean and Pentewen are easily accessible, as are the lovely seaside village of Mevagissey and the historic port of Charlestown.
Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
