Bakehouse Farm is a 16th century, detached farmhouse situated within the owner’s grounds in the village of Bledlow in Buckinghamshire. Hosting four bedrooms, on the ground floor is a super king-size with en-suite shower room, whilst upstairs there is a super king-size with en-suite bathroom, a double and a twin, plus a shower room, this cottage can sleep up to eight people. There is also a kitchen, dining room, sitting room with woodburning stove, snug room and a cloakroom. To the outside is an enclosed lawned garden and off-road parking for three cars. Bakehouse Farm is a wonderful escape for a special family occasion or to simply enjoy this serene part of England. Note: This property is 1 hour by train from London and 45 minutes from Windsor Castle.
The rural village of Chinnor rests in South Oxfordshire just outside the Chiltern Hills AONB. Hosting a supermarket and three pubs, the village offers some basic amenities, but is surrounded by glorious countryside which provides endless walks. The nearby town of Princes Risborough offers a selection of shops and eateries, whilst greater amenities can be found in the city of Oxford, which is perfect for a day out.
The Home Counties comprise the counties that surround London and include Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Middlesex. Although mostly built up, they include some fabulous scenery and attractions which are well worth a visit.
