Park View Cottage is an end-of-terrace cottage lying in the village of Afonwen near Caerwys in North Wales. Hosting two bedrooms; one king-size and one twin, along with a bathroom, this property can sleep up to four guests. There is a kitchen and a living room/diner with an open fire and an electric fire. Oil central heating with open fire and electric stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge/freezer. Smart TV, and WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair available. To the rear is an enclosed courtyard with seating, with parking available on the road. Note: There is another separate garden with seating. Park View Cottage offers a lovely spot in North Wales for a peaceful break. Please note that as we appreciate guests have personal preference regarding coffee, milk etc so no welcome basket is provided, however items are available at the local shop. Note: The stairs are cantered at the bottom so could be difficult for someone with reduced mobility. Please note: property is decorated for Christmas during the festive period. Note: dogs are not allowed upstairs or on furniture.
Caerwys is, surprisingly for its size, a town resting in North Wales, granted a Royal Charter in 1290, it's one of the smallest towns in Great Britain. Offering two pubs, a few shops, a Post Office and a scattering of local businesses, this little settlements provides all you need for a wonderful self-catered stay. Venture out to nearby Llandudno, Talacre, and Prestatyn for stretches of sandy beach along the coast, and find history and culture within the Roman City Walls of Chester.
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
