Starlings Roost is a detached bungalow in the pretty Somerset village of Ashcott. The property has three bedrooms; a double with an en-suite shower room, a second double and a twin, sleeping six guests. There is also a family bathroom, a kitchen, dining/sun room and a sitting room with electric fire. Outside, there is off-road parking for two cars, a front lawn and an enclosed rear garden with lawn and patio with hot tub. Starlings Roost is a great property for exploring the surrounding countryside eon foot or bicycle.

Ashcott is a lovely village in the Sedgemoor area of Somerset. It boasts a shop, five welcoming village pubs and its own brewery. Ashcott also hosts an annual beer festival with music and entertainment each July. This is an excellent touring base for the area, with Glastonbury just over five miles away, noted for its famous music festival, it also benefits from a stunning abbey. The town of Bridgwater offers excellent shopping facilities and is less than 10 miles away. For a day at the beach, head to the seaside town of Burnham-on-Sea, which has a wonderful sandy beach. Avid walkers and cyclists can explore the nearby magnificent Mendip Hills AONB.
