A small pretty village, Hurst Green is rich in its stories from across the generations, of highwayman, ghosts and folklore and the quaint lanes, pubs and eateries only add to its charm. Located between Clitheroe and Longridge in the Ribble Valley, one of its strongest connections in history is to the famous Jesuit day and boarding school, Stonyhurst, indeed we understand this cottage was previously owned by them. The village is well placed for visiting many other beauty spots and some of the finest eateries in the north such as the Inn at Whitewell.
