The small village of Spean Bridge is located at the southern end of the Great Glen and is best known for its iconic Commando Memorial. Spean Bridge earned its name from the Highbridge over the River Spean and the village today is a scenic holiday base, with transport links heading north to Inverness and south towards Fort William, making an ideal base to explore the Highlands and Cairngorms National Park.
