The living areas in the property consist of a kitchen equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine and a coffee machine,a dining area with seating for four guests and a sitting room with Smart TV and a electric flame-effect stove. The bedrooms consist of a king-size and a twin, along with a bathroom. Outside there is an enclosed rear courtyard, roadside parking on a first-come, first-served basis and additional parking in nearby car park. Within 0.2 miles you will find a shop, within 0.1 miles, a pub and within 0.4 miles, a beach and please note that this property does accept pets but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Shipwrights Cottage is a lovely base for exploring Devon, any time of year. Note: Two well behaved dogs welcome. There is an additional charge of £20 per pet per stay. Note: Guests must provide their own travel cot, highchair and stairgate.

A functional harbour, sandy beach, Victorian pier, sailing club, diving centre, and sea activity centre are all features of the ancient seaside town of Teignmouth, which is located in South Devon at the mouth of the Teign estuary. Elegant Georgian buildings, a sizable open space with lawns, play areas, tennis courts, a bowling green, and a small lighthouse can all be found on the town's seaward side, sometimes known as "the Den." On Teignmouth's other side, you can see Shaldon hamlet and the Dartmoor hills in addition to fishing boats and beach houses. Every year, Teignmouth also organises folk and jazz festivals, and the village of Shaldon and Teignmouth also host water races. If you choose to travel farther afield, Teignmouth is close to many attractions, such as the breathtaking Dartmoor National Park, Exeter, and several harbour towns that are worth exploring.
