Hosting three bedrooms, including a king-size with en-suite shower room, a double and a single, along with a bathroom and a cloakroom, this property can sleep up to five guests. There is also a kitchen, external utility, dining room, sitting room with open fire and a snug. Outside there is an enclosed garden with lawn, patio, seating, pond and barbecue and one parking space on the driveway with more parking available on-street. Unfortunately this property does not accept children below the age of twelve. Lavender Cottage makes a wonderful choice for a tranquil trip to Derbyshire and the Peaks.
Set just south of Belper and only around 15 miles from the Peak District is the lovely village of Duffield. Situated in Derbyshire, this upmarket village is a wonderful base for a relaxing break in the Dales, with the remains of Duffield Castle to explore, Chevin Golf Club to visit, and plenty of excellent walking routes in the vicinity. Discover a great collection of local shops and businesses, with all the essentials covered by the Coop supermarket and several pubs.
