Camelford is the perfect base for exploring the largest section of Cornwall’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Bodmin Moor, which spans 200 square kilometres and has a mix of wilderness and giant boulders where you can absorb the panoramic views of the countryside. Visit Trebarwith Strand, the closest beach to Camelford, which is home to a variety of water sports including surfing, whilst children can explore the safe rock pools dotted along the beach.
