The beach is ideal for a classic day at the ocean because of the warm, turquoise water and the protection it provides, making it feel almost subtropical. If lounging in the sun isn't your style, the Ocean Sports Centre is located right on the beach, so you can rent a kayak or stand-up paddleboard and enjoy the sea. A day at the spa at the charming hotel with views of the beach and a great terrace for cocktails in the Cornish sun is another option. Carbis Bay features a fish and chip takeout, a modest selection of local stores, and a railway branch line. It is possible that the train ride from Carbis Bay to St. Ives is among the most scenic in the country. Hayle, a village on Cornwall's coast, offers golf and a nature sanctuary, perfect for a day trip with the kids. From Carbis Bay, you can easily go to the Godrevy Nature Reserve or the Penwith Heritage Coast, where you may add coasteering or birdwatching to your list of outdoor or watersport activities. Carbis Bay is an ideal vacation spot for those who want to take in the stunning scenery of Cornwall's coast.

Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
