Dating all the way back to Saxon times is the cathedral city of Hereford. The city is known for its medieval bridge spanning over the winding Rover Wye, and its ideal location perfect for exploring the surrounding areas of Wales, Shropshire, Worcestershire and The Cotswolds. The city is home to an array of architecture from almost every British era as well as being hosting Mappa Mundi, the largest and most elaborate pre-15th century map in existence, which is located in the famous Hereford Cathedral.

Herefordshire offers visitors the chance to journey through lush green countryside, enjoying splendid black-and-white timbered villages, a magnificent cathedral city, a fairytale Georgian castle at Eastnor or books galore in famous Hay-on-Wye.
