Outside there is off-road parking for up to two cars, along with a garden featuring decking, furniture and a barbecue. There is heating with an electric fire. The kitchen and utility are home to an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and a dishwasher. There is also a 38” Smart TV, TV and WiFi. Fuel and power are included in the cost, as well as bed linen and towels. One well-behaved, medium-sized dog is welcome at the property, and smoking is not allowed. Sbales Lodge is a wonderful dwelling for exploring the Peak District.
There are various stores, bars, and restaurants in the tranquil village of Wingerworth, which is bordered by rural farmland and on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Chesterfield, a bustling market town, is only four miles distant, as are the quaint Derbyshire towns of Matlock, Ripley, and Bakewell, all of which may be reached via picturesque drive. There are many other great places to visit nearby, such as Chatsworth House, Grassmoor Country Park, Ogston Reservoir, Hardwick Hall of the National Trust, and Sheffield's busy city centre.
The ultimate in “year-round” appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.
