Dudmire is a detached sandstone farmhouse located in the village of Dufton, near Appleby-in-Westmorland in Cumbria. Hosting six bedrooms; a king-size with en-suite shower room, a ground-floor double, three doubles, and a twin room, along with a ground-floor shower room, and a family bathroom, this property can sleep up to twelve people. Completing the interior is a kitchen/diner, utility room, and a living/dining room with woodburning stove. To the outside there is ample off-road parking, and a garden surrounding the property with patio to the front with seating. Dudmire is a wonderfully large house, full of character waiting for you and your family to make fantastic holiday memories. Note. Please be advised that this property can only accept bookings with a Friday arrival.
Appleby-in-Westmorland is a market town and a civil parish in the county of Cumbria. It is home to a Grade I listed church, Appleby Castle, pubs and shops, and a train station. The Appleby Horse Fair was set up in 1685 and runs for a week in June ending on the 2nd Wednesday, it is world famous and the largest of its kind attracting a large gathering. Lying in a loop of the River Eden, overlooked by the Pennine range and being nearby to the Lake District Fells, this town is a great place to enjoy a break.
