The living areas in this three-storey cottage consist of a kitchen with an oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine, a dining room with an open fire, and a sitting room with open fire, TV, DVD player, DVDs, and a selection of books. The bedrooms consist of a second-floor king-size, a double, and a twin, along with a bathroom. Outside there is an enclosed rear patio with furniture, and roadside parking. Within 0.1 miles you'll find a shop and pub, within 0.6 miles you'll find the beach, and within 0.7 miles you'll find River Esk. Two well-behaved dogs are welcomed, but please note that smoking is not permitted. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available on request. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Smoked Kipper Cottage is the perfect abode for a family break to Whitby. Note: The staircase up to the second-floor is quite steep. Please note : The property will undergo an assessment on the 11.03.24 at 12:30, more information will be provided when you book.

The location is great for visiting this delightful part of Yorkshire, and the surrounding area offers a variety of activities to ensure that you get the most out of both the countryside and the coast. From the nearby North York Moors to the Blue Flag beaches, there's something for everyone here at any time of year. Whitby has a lovely ambience, with meandering streets and hidden alleys packed with cafés and shops, among its numerous attractions. Go whale watching or on a coastal cruise to get up close and personal with the creatures. Climb the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey for a taste of history, or visit the Captain Cook Memorial Museum for a historical and anthropological exhibition on Cook. Whitby has something for everyone, with a wide range of recreational possibilities, opportunity to explore the natural environment, and plenty of seaside attractions. Whitby is in a perfect location for exploring all of Yorkshire's attractions, as it is close to Robin Hood's Bay, which is rich in heritage wonders and gorgeous landscapes, as well as Scarborough and Middlesbrough.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
