The living areas in this converted barn consist of a first-floor open-plan living space with kitchen equipped with electric oven, halogen hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, dining area and sitting area with Smart TV, woodburning stove and juliet balcony. There is one king-size bedroom serviced by a shower room. Outside there is off-road parking available and a gravelled garden with furniture, fire pit and barbecue. Within 1.1 miles there is a shop and 0.7 miles a pub. Two well-behaved pets are welcome but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, starter for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Bank Hurst Coach House is a stunning setting for a romantic retreat to Cumbria. Note: This property only accepts children up to the age of three.

Ulverston's central street is paved with cobblestones, and the town itself has a historic feel. It has a wide variety of unique stores, cafes, and bars serving real ale by the fire. There is a wide variety of restaurants serving everything from gourmet cuisine to standard pub fare. Throughout the summer, Ulverston hosts a variety of festivals, from a flag-raising and walking festival to an art and music festival, and in late November, the town hosts the world-famous Dickensian Christmas festival. In addition to being the place where Stan Laurel was born, it also holds the record for the largest foam pie fight in the world. Great walks in scenic countryside with views of Morecambe Bay and the southern Lake District can be found all around the city. The deepest, widest, and shortest canal in the world can be found here, and it makes for a great afternoon stroll with a pub and bay views at its conclusion. Similarly, it's not hard to get to any of the National Park's sights. Furness Coast is known for its sandy beaches and excellent birdwatching. South Lakes Wild Animal Park, Lakes Windermere and Coniston, and the ever-popular Birkrigg Common, which offers breathtaking views of Morecambe Bay, are all within easy driving distance and perfect for a family outing.
