Outside, there is a gravelled garden with furniture and a barbecue, a patio terrace, and off-road parking. Lochgilphead was created as a planned town and is located at the top end of Loch Gilp, which opens into the much larger Loch Fyne. Lochgilphead flourished and is now a major tourist destination with a wide range of shops, cafes, and bars. The scenery is stunning on all sides, and there are numerous scenic drives to Inverary.
