The living areas in the property consist of an open-plan living space with a kitchen with an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, dining seating for four and a sitting room with woodburning stove and Smart TV. There is a mezzanine king-size bedroom with an en-suite and a king-size bedroom, along with a bathroom. Outside, there is a decked area with furniture and a hot tub, as well as off-road parking for two cars. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, towels and starter pack for woodburner are all included in the price. Sorry, no smoking allowed, however one well-behaved pet welcome. Located in the Dalby Forest and North York Moors National Park, Thornton-le-Dale is a charming village approximately two miles east of Pickering. Walking, biking, and nature-loving enthusiasts will be in heaven at this magnificent position at the head of a valley. Scarborough and Whitby, located 13 and 20 miles apart yet offering all the conveniences of two of the country's premier seaside destinations, are just a short drive apart. About an hour's drive away, York and Castle Howard provide all the history and culture a vacationer could ask for. There are a number of summer festivals and exhibitions held in the nearby market towns of Pickering, Malton, Kirbymoorside and Helmsley during the summer.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
