On the south coast of Cornwall, Gorran Haven is ideally situated to explore the many beaches and coves that dot the area. Families flock to Gorran Haven because of its modest sandy beach, which connects to the longer Great Perhaver beach at low tide. Gorran Haven is located on the South West Coast Path, which provides easy access to the area's National Trust-owned shoreline. At Dodman Point, which rises above Gorran and is believed to be one of Cornwall's most stunning headlands, shipwrecks have been blamed on the 370-foot-high Dodman Point. From its rocky cliffs, you can see Vault Beach to the west and Veryan Bay to the east. You might also take a walk along the coast to Mevagissey, a little fishing community. Located on the north coast of Cornwall, Caerhays Castle is an informal 60-acre garden surrounded by woodland, a stream, and pasture. The Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Eden Project, the Wheal Martyn China Clay Museum, and the cathedral town of Truro, all of which are close by, are just a few of the nearby points of interest.

Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
