The open-plan living area in this single-storey lodge includes a kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge, a dining table for four guests, and a sitting area with a Smart TV. The bedrooms consist of a double with en-suite shower room, and a twin, along with a shower room. The front decking has outdoor seating and there is off-road parking for two cars. Within 1.7 miles, there is a shop, and within 1.6, a pub. Two well-behaved dogs welcome (with a charge of £25 per week for the 2nd dog). Sorry, no smoking, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Check-in from 4pm, check-out by 10am. There are three wooden steps up to the lodge entrance, please take care. Sitting on the doorstep of the Dartmoor National Park, Springfield Lodge is an ideal base for a family of four's holiday in Devon.
Tedburn St Mary is located about 3 miles from Dartmoor National Park and 7.5 miles west of Exeter's cathedral city. Traditional thatched houses, two good pubs, including The King's Arms Inn, which dates back to the early 1600s, and a well-stocked shop line the major streets of this award-winning village. Tedburn St Mary is also home to the Tedburn Fair, which takes place every September, as well as an 18-hole golf course, and a monthly farmers' market.
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
