This reverse-level, terraced cottage has a first-floor kitchen/diner with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, Nespresso machine and milk frother, and a dining table, and a first-floor sitting room with a Smart TV. The two bedrooms, a double and a twin, are on the ground floor overlooking the courtyard, along with a cloakroom and a first-floor shower room. Outside, there is a front patio with furniture, and off-road parking for 1 car. with additional on street parking nearby. Within 0.2 miles, there is a shop and pub, and within 0.3, the coast. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. Sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the price. There is a Japanese-style Jacuzzi bath in the cloakroom, which requires a step. 2 Murray Square is a lovely, pet-friendly cottage in Fife for a family of four. Note: Christmas 2024 arrival day will be 21st December for 7 nights.
Anstruther is the largest settlement on Fife's East Neuk Coast. The Scottish Fisheries Museum, which sits near the lovely and busy harbour, has a wealth of information about the area's history. The fishing village has a plethora of cafes, bars, galleries, and restaurants, including the award-winning Anstruther Fish Bar. Pleasure vessels dock in the port, offering journeys along the coast or to the Isle of May in the Firth of Forth, where puffin and seal populations can be seen.
From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
