The living areas in this home consist of a kitchen/diner with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, a living/dining room with woodburning stove, a sitting room with TV and woodburning stove, and a conservatory. The bedrooms consist of two family rooms with en-suites. Outside there is an enclosed rear garden with lawn, patio and furniture, and a private driveway for four cars. One well-behaved dog welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price, along with a highchair, travel cot and stairgate. You'll find a shop in 2.2 miles, a pub in 2.1 miles, and Llyn Gwernan in 0.1 miles. Gilfachwydd offers a charming base for a trip to rural Gwynedd. Note: There is an additional single bed on the landing for flexibility. Note: There are steps in the garden; please take care. Note: Check-in from 4pm, check-out by 10am.

This charming little market town is situated in southern Snowdonia, halfway between the sea and the Cader Idris mountain range. It's a fantastic home base for a vacation, ideal for combining the many outdoor activities available in Snowdonia with leisurely days at Barmouth, Fairbourne, and Aberdovey's soft sand beaches. The town itself has a good assortment of stores, five pubs, a wine bar, as well as many top-notch cafés, restaurants and bakeries that daily produce fresh bread and pastries. Dolgellau is said to have the highest concentration of listed buildings in all of Wales, with over 200 of them, and it has been classified as a "cycle break centre," with several specific cycle routes running through the town. The Coed y Brenin Mountain bike trail is nearby, and the area is perfect for peaceful outdoor activity because it is close to mountains, forests, waterfalls, castles, and beaches.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
