This single-storey property consists of a studio-style layout with double bed, kitchenette with fridge, and a sitting area with sofa bed, a shower room, a cloakroom, an external compost cloakroom, and an outdoor kitchen with a woodburning stove and gas hob. Outside there is furniture and a firepit barbecue, and off-road parking for one car. One well-behaved small/medium dog is welcome, but sorry, no smoking. The Wagon at Burrow Hill is a rustic base for a romantic break to Devon. Note: There are steps up to the property and external WC. Note: Washing machine and tumble dryer on request. Note: This is an off-grid property with solar-powered electricity, therefore hairdryers/straighteners and other high-powered appliances cannot be used (maximum 300W). Note: The owner's washing machine and tumble dryer can be used upon request. Note: There is no WiFi in the property, however mobile signal is generally good. Note: The TV monitor does not have satellite or terrestrial channels, but can be used as a Smart TV via hotspot from mobile network and has a USB port.

The region is a walker's paradise, with strolls along the River Otter's banks or hill hikes providing breath-taking vistas all the way to Dartmoor. The family-friendly Escot Country Park is close by, and the dramatic 20-mile Jurassic Coast, England's first natural World Heritage Site, is only a short drive from Ottery.
