There is a kitchen/diner with an oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dining seating and a sitting room with woodburning stove, TV and a study area. There are three double bedrooms, along with a bathroom and shower room. Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden with lawn, patio and furniture and parking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Apologies, smoking is not permitted. Within 1.4 miles there is a shop, within 1.2 miles a pub and within 1.1 miles, a beach. Farmhouse Cottage makes a charming base for a family escape to Dorset. Please note: There are a few steps up to the garden and this is a very quiet location.
Preston is a little seaside community one mile from the major beach resort of Weymouth. Weymouth offers it all: gorgeous beaches, activities, and a lively waterfront. Take a short trip to Portland's craggy isle, connected to the mainland via Chesil Beach, home of the National Sailing Academy. Explore Dorchester's Roman roads, museums, and the ruins of its old fortification, Maiden Castle.
